Honest answers
Questions people ask us
Is this an AI resurrection?
No, and we would not build one. This is an animated portrait, like a painting that moves. It is made from your photos, it does not think or speak, and it never pretends to be your pet. What made your pet who they were is not something software can hold. What we can do is help you keep the way they looked and moved, warmly and accurately.
What do I need to send you?
Ten to twenty photos you love, ideally showing their face, their body, and a few of their habits. Phone photos are fine. If you are ordering a memorial set, older or imperfect photos are welcome; we work with what you have.
Can I order while my pet is still here?
Yes, and most of our work is exactly that. We are an art studio for pets first. All prices are public so nothing is ever sprung on anyone later.
How long does it take?
Portraits and pixel sets in about 3 to 5 days, memorial sets in about 5 to 7 days with a proof first, and desktop companions in 2 to 3 weeks because they are built one at a time.
Do you use AI to make the art?
Yes, openly. Our studio uses modern image tools, including AI, the way a woodshop uses power tools. Every piece is directed by a person, checked against your real photos detail by detail, and nothing is finished until a person agrees it looks like your pet. You approve a proof before anything is final, and you never pay before that approval.
What if the art does not feel right?
You see a proof before anything is final, and one revision round is included. For memorial orders we also have a fixed grace policy, published in full, and we never run experiments or tests on grieving customers.
Will my pet's art appear on your site or social media?
No. Private by default, always. We only share a customer's art if they ask us to. Everything shown on this site is a studio sample character.
Is there a subscription?
No. Every purchase is one-time. You buy the art, you own the art, and we never charge you to keep it.
What happens to my photos and files long term?
Your photos are used to make your art and nothing else. If this service ever winds down, you get advance notice, a one-click export of everything you own, and memorial pages stay readable for a defined period afterward. We put that in writing because "forever" is not a promise anyone can honestly make.
