The way they tilt their head. The way they sleep. We turn your photos into a living portrait you can keep.

PetSoul is a small studio. You send us the photos you love, and we turn them into finished art of your pet. Portraits, pixel characters, and short animated clips, made carefully, one pet at a time, and a person approves every piece before you see it.

For the pet beside you

What you get

Three ways to keep them close. Every price is public and the same for everyone. Every purchase is one-time. No subscriptions, ever.

Pixel Portrait

$39

A finished pixel sprite set of your pet, with multiple poses and animation states. It works as a desktop widget character, so a small version of their look and their habits can sit at the edge of your screen while you work.

Turnaround about 3 to 5 days. You pay only after you approve the proof.

Order the pixel portrait

Art Package

$49 or $79

Finished art portraits of your pet in one consistent style, drawn from your photos. The details come from the real photos you send, so the ear that flops, the crooked tail, the one white sock all make it in. The $49 set is four portraits. The $79 set is eight portraits plus two scene pieces of your pet in a place they loved.

Turnaround about 3 to 5 days. You pay only after you approve the proof.

Order the art package

Family packs. Pets come in packs, and so do we: add a second pet to any piece for $5, a third for $8, a fourth for $10. Same care, every face in the house.

Add the whole crew

Already have an order with us? Add three more short animated clips made from your photos for $4.99.

Our process

How it works

Share your photos

You pick 10 to 20 favorite photos and tell us about your pet: names and nicknames, habits, quirks. Our personality questionnaire goes as deep as you want to go.

We make the art

Our studio makes the art with modern image tools, including AI, always guided by a person who checks every detail against your photos. Nothing is invented about your pet, and nothing ships until a person agrees it looks like them.

You approve it

We send you a private proof. One revision round is included, and we do not finish until it feels like them.

It is yours

You get the finished files to keep, plus a private page. Private by default: we never show your pet's art publicly unless you ask us to.

The whole point

No two of these are alike

We do not sell a template with your pet's colors on it. We build from who they actually are, and the strange specific things they do are the best part.

The frisbee dog

Gets a frisbee. It flies, it bounces, she catches it mid-air on your screen, because that is who she is in the yard.

The herder

Gets something to herd. A heeler without a job is a tragedy, even a pixel one.

The treat inspector

Sniffs every treat twice and walks away from half of them. If that is your dog, that is your dog's character too.

When you order, we ask about their personality: the nicknames, the rituals, the fears, the favorite toy, the favorite game. Answer as much or as little as you like. The deeper you go, the more it is unmistakably them.

Made from your memories

Some people come to us after a goodbye, with a phone full of photos and a wish to keep the way their pet looked and moved. We make memorial portrait sets for exactly that, gently and without any rush.

In their memory

Memorial portrait sets

These are made slowly and carefully, from the photos you choose. There is no deadline and no pressure. Prices are fixed, public, and the same for everyone, and they were published while pets were alive and well. Begin whenever you are ready, whether that is this week or next year.

Portrait Set

$79

Three living-portrait clips and four finished art portraits of your pet, made from the photos you choose, with a private memorial page. A quiet place to see them the way you remember them.

We send a proof for your approval first. About 5 to 7 days. You pay only after you approve the proof.

Begin when you're ready

Portrait Set with Printed Book

$199

Everything in the Portrait Set, plus a printed keepsake book of the portraits. Something to hold, to leave on a shelf or a coffee table, and to open on the days you want to.

Proof in about 5 to 7 days. The book ships after your approval. You pay only after you approve the proof.

Begin when you're ready

Portrait Set with Desktop Companion

$249

Everything in the Portrait Set, plus a hand-finished animated pixel character of your pet for your desktop. Multiple states: resting, walking, small moments of personality. It is a portrait that moves, not a recreation of your pet. Each one is built one at a time by a person.

About 2 to 3 weeks, because these are made individually. You pay only after you approve the proof.

Begin when you're ready

If you have questions before you begin, write to us. A person answers.

In writing

Our promises

We put these in writing because you should not have to take a stranger's word for it.

A fixed grace policy

For memorial orders: you can pause or cancel at any point before final delivery for a full refund of anything paid. If you go quiet mid-order, we hold your work with no expiry and no fees, and pick it back up whenever you write. We never run experiments, tests, or promotions on grieving customers, and memorial prices never change based on who is asking or when.

Private by default

Your pet's art is yours. We never show it on our site or social media unless you ask us to. Everything you see here is a studio sample.

No subscriptions

Every purchase is one-time. We never charge you to keep what you bought.

A wind-down commitment

If this service ever closes, you get at least 90 days of notice, a one-click export of everything you own, and memorial pages stay readable for at least 12 months afterward. "Forever" is not a promise anyone can honestly make, so we make the ones we can keep.

The fiction is always disclosed

What we make is art: portraits that are still, printed, or gently in motion. It is made from your photos. It does not think, speak, or pretend to be your pet, and we will always say so plainly.

Honest answers

Questions people ask us

Is this an AI resurrection?

No, and we would not build one. This is an animated portrait, like a painting that moves. It is made from your photos, it does not think or speak, and it never pretends to be your pet. What made your pet who they were is not something software can hold. What we can do is help you keep the way they looked and moved, warmly and accurately.

What do I need to send you?

Ten to twenty photos you love, ideally showing their face, their body, and a few of their habits. Phone photos are fine. If you are ordering a memorial set, older or imperfect photos are welcome; we work with what you have.

Can I order while my pet is still here?

Yes, and most of our work is exactly that. We are an art studio for pets first. All prices are public so nothing is ever sprung on anyone later.

How long does it take?

Portraits and pixel sets in about 3 to 5 days, memorial sets in about 5 to 7 days with a proof first, and desktop companions in 2 to 3 weeks because they are built one at a time.

Do you use AI to make the art?

Yes, openly. Our studio uses modern image tools, including AI, the way a woodshop uses power tools. Every piece is directed by a person, checked against your real photos detail by detail, and nothing is finished until a person agrees it looks like your pet. You approve a proof before anything is final, and you never pay before that approval.

What if the art does not feel right?

You see a proof before anything is final, and one revision round is included. For memorial orders we also have a fixed grace policy, published in full, and we never run experiments or tests on grieving customers.

Will my pet's art appear on your site or social media?

No. Private by default, always. We only share a customer's art if they ask us to. Everything shown on this site is a studio sample character.

Is there a subscription?

No. Every purchase is one-time. You buy the art, you own the art, and we never charge you to keep it.

What happens to my photos and files long term?

Your photos are used to make your art and nothing else. If this service ever winds down, you get advance notice, a one-click export of everything you own, and memorial pages stay readable for a defined period afterward. We put that in writing because "forever" is not a promise anyone can honestly make.
